Custom Development Process & Documentation

Many of our clients treat TechRim ITE as an internal development and support team that can help them deliver solutions to their business units quickly and in a cost effective manner. Using this partnership, model companies can scale up or down and focus their valuable internal engineering resources on the most strategic parts of their business.

Business Objective & Success Measures Review
We work with companies to understand their unique business needs, and then we develop software applications to meet their objectives and ROI targets.

Requirements Gathering
After reviewing and discussing your specific needs, we will create a detailed System Requirements Document (SRD). Then we will collectively review, revise and sign off on the document when it accurately reflects your company’s needs.

Technical Design
Based on the System Requirements Document (SRD), the platform preference and the deployment model, TechRim ITE will create a Technical Design Document (TDD). Upon review and making any client edits, the document is agreed on and signed.

Test Plan & Testing
Using the SRD and TDD, a test plan is developed, reviewed and agreed upon. Key parts of the test plan will outline how the test environment will be set up and accessed by each group, which party handles each phase of the testing process, and what performance testing will be required. Upon completion of testing, the results are delivered to the client.

Development
TechRim ITE will develop the application or solution according to the agreed upon specifications. Frequent status checks and reviews will ensure the project is meeting client expectations.

Security Review and Scan
Using both manual and automated methods, TechRim ITE’s code is reviewed to ensure it is secure and meets industry standards and/or requirements.

Implementation / Deployment
Final code is then delivered and can be deployed by either TechRim ITE or the client. TechRim ITE can deploy code remotely or in person based on client preference. Deployment is often in stages based on beta tests followed by a full release.

TechRim ITE also has a data center and can deploy software as a service. TechRim ITE is both ISO9000 and SAS 70 compliant.

Support
Many clients enter into a maintenance agreement so TechRim ITE can support the application and make enhancements as needed.
